Vow

The character makes a sacred Vow. Each time the character gains a level of Growth, they may choose to take another Vow for free. The Vow is broken if the character knowingly and willingly betrays the Vow. A broken Vow is lost until the character attempts to re-claim it upon gaining a new level of Growth. Each Vow the character has grants one Potency to all Miracle rolls.

Abstinence
The character must abstain from the use of all drugs or alcohol. The character is immune to all poisons.

Chastity
The character must abstain from sexual intercourse. The character is immune to any effect which would alter or manipulate the characters emotions.

Obedience
The character must serve and obey the leaders of their Faith or a specific superior chosen by the Faith. The character is immune to any effect which would alter or manipulate the characters thoughts.

Pacifism
The character must not perform an act of violence. Each opponent that attacks the character has their first attack miss completely.

Poverty
The character must possess no money or worldly goods except for simple peasant clothing, a knife to cut food, a staff, one days worth of food at most, and a begging bowl, and must donate any excess to others. The character is immune to all disease.

Purity
The character must not touch dead or diseased flesh, nor deliberately and knowingly touch blood. The character is immune to all Merits and Powers used by the Infernal or Undead.
