The Skill to survive in hostile regions. The character must choose one Specialty each time this Skill is taken. This Skill may only be used with a Specialty that the character possesses. If the character does not have the appropriate Specialty, the character rolls Unskilled.

The character can gather food, making a Results Roll using Mental + Survival. This takes a number of hours equal to the Difficulty. The Potency is how many meals the character has been able to recover, and to hand out to anyone who needs it. To use this version of Survival, the character must have either the Foraging Specialty, or must be in a region where another Specialty will apply.
The character attempts to find someone by following their trail and remnants of the target’s passing. The character makes a Passive Roll, using Mental + Survival, which is compared to the Successes of the target’s Physical + Stealth roll. Finding a proper trail takes one minute, assuming the character is in the proper area. The character’s Speed is considered halved for following tracks, though the character may jog or run to increase their Speed, with appropriate Difficulty increases on the Survival roll. A new roll is made each Scene to keep the trail, or any time the character is significantly distracted. To use this version of Survival, the character must have either the Tracking Specialty, or must be in a region where another Specialty will apply.
