Spell Catching

The character can use a weapon or their hand to catch a spell and redirect it. The Adept spends 10 Essence and an Action and rolls their Spiritual Attribute + Awareness Skill against a Difficulty equal to the successes of the cast spell. If the Adept succeeds, the spell is "caught". The Adept has two choices: They can ground the spell, so it has no effect, or they can spend an amount of Health equal to the spell's Mastery, and direct it at anyone within line of sight. The spell, if redirected, keeps the number of successes it had originally rolled, but gains a number of successes equal to what the Adept rolled to catch it. This is considered a Miracle, and any bonuses to Miracles apply to this roll.
