The character makes a brutal psionic assault against a target, rolling Mental + Empathy against the targets Resolve. If the character succeeds and gets a Potency greater than the targets Physical Attribute, the target collapses, immediately reduced to 0 Health and must make a Death Save. If the character succeeds but the Potency is not greater than the targets Physical Attribute, the target suffers the Potency of the Gift as Damage, using only their Physical Attribute to reduce the damage inflicted. For every 2 additional Essence spent on this Gift, the Damage psychic reading the Gift can inflict is increased by one.
