"Innovation drives us forward, and our will to survive tempers our weapons, our companions, and our people. Remember that all things can be tools, and always trust in your hunting companion." -Mon'Darr Elder.

The Mon'Darr are a race of tall, wolf-like humanoids originating from the forests of the South East. They excel at the wild hunt, and enjoy innovating their own tools and techniques in order to improve themselves and their people. Gifted with resilience of will and naturally fast healing bodies, they enjoy to skirt the edge of danger, and often times the closer a Mon'Darr gets to meeting the aspect of death, the better the story comes of it. Bravado, pushing the limits, and never alone, the Mon'Darr are an adventurous breed.

Loyal followers of the Aspects of Fukumi, the Mon'Darr follow the Aspect of Death, always seeking her favor to live one more day in the face of certain failure. They are adventurers, and tend to wander about the land searching for adventure or the next big thing to bring glory to their people.

Mon'Darr - Playable Race

Physical Description

The Mon'Darr is a race of wolf-like humanoids that stand between six and seven feet tall. The men are usually at least a half-foot taller then the women, and all they all share a keenly fit, well toned body structure. Their fur is primarily dark greens and blues, in a variety of stripes and spots to help camoflauge them in their traditional home. Body decoration is a very 'in' thing for a Mon'Darr, given their ability to blend in with the environment, being able to stick out in a crowd is desired. This ranges from the use of metals, to scarring to put patterns into the fur, to styling their fur or coloring it with plant dyes.

Their clothing is usually tanned leather or heavy fabrics, to protect them on adventures or against particularly tough trees. While they prefer materials from their home, they often times will wear the latest in Daisuke fashions when trying to be more eye catching. When only with others of their kind, its traditional to go without any clothing aside from a simple loincloth or pelvic wrap... unless of course they're trying to do something invariably exciting.

System Information

The Mon'Darr are one of the original races of Nimby, wolf-like humanoids that tower in the 6-7 foot range. They are hunters and sportsmen, seeking to make everything exciting, even the act of acquiring food. Always pushing the limits, they enjoy innovating not only their methods of fighting but to make their daily lives easier. As such, they are very comfortable around strange but possibly useful things.

Before a Mon'Darr is allowed to leave the village, they must go on the great Hunt. The Mon'Darr can take nothing with him, and must hunt down an animal with their bare claws, using it to appease and gain the trust of a Ghost Cat, one of the wild animals that they co-exist with, and their most trusted of hunting companions.
