History
Kurosawa Shiro was born a member of the Koketsu Clan in Naipon, one of three Clans from the Edo provinces. He is one of the Kitsune-blooded, and was raised as a demon hunter from childhood.
Shortly after the fall of Aranous he was introduced to the Kurosawa Clan, as part of an arrainged marriage between the Koketsu and the Kurosawa, in hopes to prevent future conflict. The match was successful, and he was married to Kurosawa Kaede, daughter of Kurosawa Tashiro and Kurosawa Raine.
Description
Kurosawa Shiro stands at 4'6", and appears to be near 140 pounds. His frame is sturdy and athletic with well-defined muscles, showing his discipline and training. His fur is well-groomed, and he looks freshly-washed and clean at all times. He is pleasant to look at, handsome with a youthful appearance, you would think he is about nineteen years old. His two tails swaying behind him mark him as a spirit, and they never touch the ground.
Shiro's fur is a deep red, almost black, and the fur on his chest, whiskers, ear-tips, and tail-tips are black, matching the colour along the insides of his arms and legs, and his palms and feet. His fur is thicker on his chest, a downy patch which curls and looks fun to play with. His hair hangs down to the base of his spine, braided neatly and tied at the end with a small jade ring which gleams. At the top of the braid is a hair clip, also jade, which circles the braid and keeps it free from the rest of his hair. His eyes are a blue-white, standing out from his dark fur, drawing immediate attention to his face. They are faintly luminescent, giving a faintly sacred radiance which is more noticeable in the dark. He seems to keep himself somewhat alert at all times.
When out and about, he wears a pair of hakama, rich azure pants which covers his waist and comes down to his ankles, and a pair of tabi socks with a solid sole to protect his feet. Strapped over his shoulder, near the small of his back, is his wakizashi, with navy blue threading on the grip, and matching laquer for the saya. In one hand he usually carries a shakujo, the staff made of deep green jade, the ends and centre made of silver. The small jade rings on the top of his shakujo chime pleasantly as he moves.
Personality
Shiro is usually friendly with those he knows and is comfortable with, but is very uncomfortable in the Shire Lands. He is not happy with his position, but accepts it as his duty to his wife, who is currently daimyo of the area that the Naipon Embassy was built on.
Shiro has a sensitive nose, and the scents he often finds within the city disgust him, and it becomes even worse when he is in a crowded region. As such, he rarely enters the city, and contents himself with remaining in the Embassy unless duty calls.
Talents
Shiro is a myobu, a guardian kitsune, sworn to the god Inari and trained by the Monastic Adepts.
