Know Fate (Oracle Miracle)
The character is capable of looking through the weave of the Tapestry, using it to know what has come before, to see what is happening now, and to foresee what is yet to come. How skilled the Oracle is at seeing the threads of the Tapestry depends on the Growth of the Oracle. Any bonuses for performing Miracles are added to the rolls involved with this Ability. All forms of Sight require a Spiritual + Awareness roll against a Difficulty determined by what the character wishes to See. All forms of Know Fate have a Potency equal to the Oracle’s Might, plus the number of Successes rolled. Anything which wishes to counter this scrying must reduce the Potency of the effect to 0.
The character is aware of everything which happens in the Scene being witnessed. Those who are outside the Tapestry (Entities, Spirits, Unfettered) are not visible to the character, but if the Oracle can sense the thoughts of a witness to the Scene, they can fill in any gaps from the thoughts and memories of the witness. The Oracle can read the thoughts and motivations of anyone with a Resolve less than the Potency of the scrying. When observing the future, the Oracle sees important events to come, everything else is vague. Fate and Destiny are written. Chance is not.

The Oracle spends 1 Essence to observe events in the present. The Essence Cost and Difficulty are modified by how far away from their current location the Oracle Sees (Range), and the area the Oracle wishes to observe at once (Area).

The Oracle spends 2 Essence to observe events in the past. The Essence Cost and Difficulty are modified by how far back the Oracle is looking (Time), as well as how far away from the current location the Oracle Sees (Range), and the area the Oracle wishes to observe (Area).

The Oracle spends 3 Essence to observe events in the future. The Essence Cost and Difficulty are modified by how far forward the Oracle is looking (Time), as well as how far away from the current location the Oracle Sees (Range), and the area the Oracle wishes to observe (Area).

Know Fate and the Game
Know Fate can be a game-breaking power, but it is an important part of the Arin Faith. The Oracles are the chroniclers of history, and if they were unable to record the events happening around them and foresee important events in the future, they would not be able to fulfil their duties.
It is important to remember that an Oracle is an observer and not a participant. An Oracle may witness a crime and record it in their book, but they feel no obligation to report the crime to authorities. If a guard wishes to know about the murder, they may go to the Library and attempt to look it up, but this takes time.
The exception is when an activity threatens the Tapestry. If an event is seen as unnatural and a danger to the future, the Oracle who witnesses it may drop hints to the proper people to send them on the path to counter the threat.
An Oracle in a group of PCs is a witness and a decent source of facts. They can explain events and lead the group in the right direction, but the person playing the Oracle should work with the Game Master, not against them. Cryptic hints, subtle clues, and riddles are all part of an Oracle’s repertoire. If the rest of the group does not ask the Oracle a specific question, the Oracle is not obligated to answer. A person is responsible for their own Fate, the Oracle is not there to lay out the path for them.
Area
The area the Oracle can see at once. The Oracle is aware of all activities in the area, and can ‘See’ behind closed doors, through walls, below the ground in basements, and so forth. The Area is multiplied by the Successes rolled.

Range
The distance an Oracle can sense. The Oracle can move their Sight further than the declared distance, multiplying the final distance by the Successes rolled.

Time
The distance into the past or future the Oracle can See. The Oracle can move their Sight further forward or backwards than the declared time frame if the Oracle feels the need, multiplying the final time frame by the Successes rolled.
