History
Kaede is the daughter of Kurosawa Tashiro and Jade. Since she was a child, the girl has been a little bit "off" by most standards. That didn't stop her appointment to head the Naipon embassy within the Shire. Still, she is rarely seen outside (and always in the company of her husband, Kurosawa Shiro), instead dealing with what internal matters there are.
Description
You look upon a most unusual fur. In form, she is a vixen in, perhaps, her late teens. Her body appears lithe and healthy, her tail lush. The girl's fur, however, looks more befitting a skunk - a black pelt broken by white. Twin stripes start atop her muzzle to pass over her forehead and beneath her locks of startlingly crimson hair before continuing down her back and twin tails. Her underside from the chest down seems to be white as well. There is an ethereal quality to her that makes her seem more spirit than flesh at times, hints of that found within her soft green eyes tinged with hints of silver or black.
The girl wears a vibrant blue kimono, the material dyed such that the shade grows darker nearer the edges of the garment where koi are printed in white as though swimming in a pond. The robe easily conceals her tatami sandals and the sleeves are long enough to hang over her hands as well as hiding most of her figure. To allow for her two fox tails, the kimono is slit partway up the back. Her short, red hair bears a jade comb - the only bit of decoration she wears.
Behavior
While most kitsune are attuned to a specific element, Kaede is linked to time itself. This has given her a very odd perspective on the world around her and contributes to a demeanor some have called cold or distant. On top of that, she takes her posting seriously even though Naipon has little interest or influence in the Shire so she tries to maintain the veneer required of a daimyo.
