The character can create a disk of force that hovers in front of them, protecting them from harm. This shield has a Hardness equal to the character’s Growth + 3. This shield acts like a normal shield, adding to the character’s Defence, with a bonus equal to half the character’s Growth (round up). The character may increase this bonus by one for every additional point of Essence spent, to a maximum equal to the character’s Growth.
