Background

Dire is the offspring of a Dire Wolf female and a Chaos Dragon male. He was named for his mother's species. At a young age, his mother was killed iunder questionable circumstances, and his father took over caring for the young dragonwolf. The boy was brought up to worship purity and he was even trained in sword play. This was all unbeknownst to his corrupt father, who had personally seen to the death of the boy's mother so he could trainthe boy to be an heir to the dragon's birth right.
Eventually, Dire tired of putting up with his father's lies. He searched their home and was stricken with horror as he found evidence of the true depths of his father's corruption. Even the evidence that tied his father to his mother's death. The boy attempted to confront his father, but the dragon easily defeated the boy. When Dire had recovered, he left his home under the cover of night to join the Horsemen.
After a thorough regimen of training, the boy eventually headed to the Shire. He has lived there since, having acquired a cave in the Terrabrae cliff for his use as a home in a deal with Kaelyn. His personal life details are known to some, but he strives to keep them relatively concealed.

Description

Here stands an interesting creature. He appears to be a wolf at first glance, but he is really a hybrid of dragon and wolf. He stands seven feet tall, and he has silver fur that seems to waver and shift constantly in a chaotic pattern. His head is of a lupine shape. His ears, however, show scales under the fur and sweep back into a fin-like shape at the rear edges. He has a trail of furless scales that travels from the tip of his snout, back between his ears, and all the way down his back. On his back, the scales form into an irregular ridge. He has stormy blue eyes whose colors seem to swirl and shift almost hypnotically. His muzzle is often consumed by a questionable smirk, and he looks around often. His ears pivot individually as he looks around, taking in the full scope of sounds around him.
His neck furred short of the ridge of scales over his spine, protecting it. His shoulders are strong and smoothly muscled. His arms are more along the lines of very flexible forelegs. His arms terminate in paws with lengthened digits and short, but fierce claws. His claws are steel or some other metal. On his back is a pair of wings. His wings are silvery and can stretch to a forty foot span. The bony 'fingers' of his wings are covered in fur, and scaly membranes stretch between them. His stomach is smooth, soft, and obviously strong. His back is overly muscled, thanks to his wings. His chest is powerfully muscled as well, his wings need great strength in the upper body to function properly. His waist is trim and a little padded.
His legs are digitigrade. His paws are taloned, and scaled plates cover his shins and the upper portion of his legs above his paws. His ridge of scales down his back flows into his tail, a ridge cascading down the five feet of his scaled dragon's tail and ending in a tail club that opens into five wickedly sharp silver blades during flight and for fighting.
On his lower body he wears a baggy pair of cargo shorts that extend to the first joint of his legs. His tail extends from the cargo shorts through a tail sleeve that is sewn into the rear of the shorts. His tail swishes idly, as a general rule, and is rarely caught motionless. He prefers to go without a shirt, as his upper body is kept modest by his fur, and his wings tend to get in the way anyway.

Public Information

Oddly, very little is know, publically about the mysterious wolf.
He has been seen with a Lutrai named Jorda and an Otter named Campione.
He is Draconian (Obviously enough...).
He has been charged with excessive force for defending another fur by beheading a thug. He paid a fine for his actions. Rumors have been started based on this fact, perhaps even a few alluding to his possible affiliation with the Horsemen.
He is currently under contract with Kaelyn to aid her in defending her keep should she ever need his aid.
