The character teleports sections of the target’s mind, destroying it. Specifically, the character strikes at the brain stem, rolling Mental + Medicine against the target’s Resolve. If successful, the target loses all vision, hearing, and other sensory functions, as well as all voluntary motor functions, trapping them in their own mind. The target falls limp and becomes unresponsive. This is a permanent effect that requires supernatural or mystical healing within a number of days equal to the victim’s Physical or they will die. Since no Wounds were inflicted, the Healing roll must surpass the gift’s Potency to work. Regeneration or other automatic healing allows the target to make a Death Save to recover from the effect in a number of Rounds equal to the Potency of the Gift.
