The character can control sound in the region, either increasing the sounds to an incredible level, or softening the sounds until they can not be heard at all. The character does not need to do the full area however, and can choose pockets of sound to increase or decrease. If used to silence a region, the character can grant Additional Successes to rolls to remain silent (such as Stealth rolls), but can also hinder magic or combat rolls (increasing the Difficulty by the character’s Growth). Increasing sound can make it painful or just hard to hear through the noise, increasing the Difficulty of listen rolls for specific sounds or even Concentration Rolls by the character’s Growth.
