The Skill to climb rough surfaces or to navigate over rough terrain. Under most circumstances, the character will roll Physical + Climb to navigate a surface, with the game master setting the Difficulty for doing so. A surface with reasonable hand-holds will have a Difficulty of 0 to 3, while one with no handholds at all may have a Difficulty of 10. When climbing, a character’s Speed is considered to be Feet per Round (20 Seconds), rather than the usual Yards per Round.

Climb (Half Speed)
The character can, by spending an Action, move at half their Speed while climbing for a Round. The character suffers a base +5 Difficulty on all other Actions while climbing. This Difficulty is reduced by half the character’s Climbing Skill. Opponents attempting to attack the character have their Difficulty increased by half the character’s Climbing Skill.

Power Climb (Full Speed)
The character can, by spending an Action, move at their full Speed while climbing for a Round. The character suffers a base +10 Difficulty on all other Actions while climbing. This Difficulty is reduced by the character’s Climbing Skill. Opponents attempting to attack the character have their Difficulty increased by the character’s Climbing Skill.

Climb Push
A character can attempt to increase their Speed by making a Physical + Climb + Size roll. The character’s Base Speed is increased by the number of Successes rolled. This benefit remains for a number of Rounds equal to the character’s Growth. Each time the character performs a Climb Push in the same Scene, the Difficulty is increased by one. If the character is performing a Power Climb while attempting a Climb Push, the Difficulty is increased by two instead.
