Aura of Retribution

As guardians of balance, priests of Mika are expected to convince others to cease their disruptions to the Tapestry when possible. A Balancer may invoke the protection of her goddess to this end, spending 10 Essence to shield herself from a measure of harm. While this aura is active, any Wounds that would be inflicted on the Balancer are split evenly (fractions dropped) between the priest and her attacker. This effect lasts for a scene, or is broken if the Balancer attacks or uses a Power, Gift, or spell in any way that could be deemed offensive. This is considered a miracle, and any number of bonus dice that would add to a use of Faith instead grant that level of Soak to the Balancer after Wounds are split.
